1004) VINTAGE 1950s SILVER FILIGREE ROSARY WITH EMERALD GREEN BEADS - Listed in RareRosaries.com - This rosary is much lovelier than the pictures show. It is made of vivid emerald green beads, rich and deep in color. The Ave Maria beads are single-capped; the Pater beads are double-capped. Each bead measures 8mm. The necklace part measures 30 inches all around. The dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross is another 7 1/5 inches. The Cross measures 1 by 1 4/5 inches. The Center Medal measures 4/5 inch. The Cross has a very handsome Corpus and nice details. The Center Medal is likewise very lovely with one side showing the image of Our Lady, and the reverse showing Jesus holding the Cross. The Center Medal is hallmarked "Sterling." The Cross is not hall-marked although we think this is sterling as well, as are the bead caps which have a lovely patina.
